Sandie Shaw (Born In 1974) – (There’s) Always Something There to Remind Me

Sandie Shaw was a big name in the United Kingdom during the ‘60s because of her achievements as a singer. Her notable chart-topping hits were “(There’s) Always Something There to Remind Me,” “Puppet on a String,” and “Long Live Love.”

She made history in the late ‘60s when she became the first Eurovision Song Contest winner from Britain. After more than a decade without a hit, Shaw re-emerged in 1984 with a famous cover of “Hand in Glove” by The Smiths. She officially retired by 2013. During the 2017 Birthday Honours, she became a Member of the Order of the British Empire.
