Tony Bennett has always loved singing ever since he was a young boy. He started pursuing it professionally after serving in the U.S. Army during World War II. His first hit titled “Because of You” came out in 1951. He followed it with more successful songs like “Rags to Riches” and “I Left My Heart in San Francisco.”
His career slowed down when everyone went crazy for rock music, but he ultimately made a comeback in the late ‘80s and had gold record albums. Bennett still makes new material, and his new collaborative album with Lady Gaga called “Love for Sale” hit stores in 2021.
