Never Upstage the Clown
Some kids find clowns adorable while others think they’re the stuff of nightmares. Of course ‘Pennywise’ from Stephen King’s horror novel “IT,” hasn’t helped erase the perception that clowns are frightening monsters. But that’s beside the point.
We’re more interested in Lane Porter who worked as a sidekick to a clown at a kid’s party. Her chipmunk suit was such a hit but sadly, she was fired at the end of the day for being more entertaining than the clown.
