Double-Stuff Oreos Are Called ”Double-Stuf” Oreos
Like BIC, the cookie company Oreo also decided to prank people’s memories by calling their double-stuff Oreos “Double-Stuf” instead of, well… “Double-Stuff!” The cookie’s name makes for such an obvious typo that it’s easy to see why people always assumed it wasn’t there.
Oh, and by the way: according to Truth in Advertising, Double-Stuf Oreos don’t contain twice the crème, but just 1.91 times more crème than the original Oreo cookies. Other sources state the number is a mere 1.86 times the original crème.
