It’s the Berenstain Bears, Not the Berenstein Bears
Another well-known Mandela effect involves the famous children’s literature franchise “Berenstain Bears,” as many people recall seeing the name of the bears in the books written with an ‘E’ (as in “Berenstein Bears”) instead of an ‘A.’ That was never the case, as the authors of the books were themselves called Stan and Jan Berenstain.
Perhaps it all comes from a typo found in an old VHS tape in which the name of the famous cartoon bears is written both as “Berenstain” and as “Berenstein.”
