This one gave way to a massive discussion thread on Reddit, as online commentators couldn’t find any evidence that the cartoon in the Raisin Bran cereal box once wore sunglasses. While it’s clear that it doesn’t anymore, there are some online references featuring the cartoon with sunglasses, meaning this is a sort of mid-level Mandela effect.
Nonetheless, it’s impressive that so many people simply assumed the Raisin Bran sun did wear sunglasses. In “Family Guy,” for example, the cartoon makes a one-episode appearance wearing some cool shades.
