Many fans of the Netflix series “Emily in Paris” will be surprised to find out that Lily Collins is the daughter of prominent drummer Phil Collins and her former second wife, Jill Tavelman. Though they are both in the entertainment industry, the father is best known for his hit songs “In the Air Tonight” and “Do You Remember.”
Lily’s parents, Tavelman and Phil, separated in 1996 when the actress was just five years old, and they relocated from London to Los Angeles. The 10-time Academy Award nominee starred in the 2022 blockbuster film “Windfall” and published her first book, “Unfiltered: No Shame, No Regrets, Just Me,” in 2017.
