Many people don’t believe Hollywood actor Brad Pitt and former United States President Barack Obama are related. Though it sounds strange, according to the New England Historic Genealogical Society (NEHGS), it’s true that the two are ninth cousins.
Their history dates back to a man known as Edwin Hickman, who died in 1769 in Virginia. Obama had previously hinted at the weird and wonderful fact when he appeared on “The View” in 2008. Though the former world leader and A-list star don’t have many similarities, their lineage is blessed with phenomenal genes, as Obama was named one of the best-looking men in the U.S. in 2017.
