The Japanese series “Terrace House” is a lot calmer than other reality TV shows we usually watch, that’s why it is a surprise to find out that the then 18-year-old Riko Nagai and 29-year-old Hayato Terashima were already secretly dating during the program.
Apparently, despite projecting that they were still in the getting-to-know-each-other-better stage, the two had already been fooling around off-set. Nagai, an aspiring idol, wanted to protect her image. That’s why they kept the relationship on the hush-hush.
