One of the elements of a classic game show is the live audience and more specifically their reactions. It makes the show more engaging and lively. However, the crowds we see on TV are sometimes just paid actors—yup; they also hire audience members!
Sometimes, those actors do not even get to watch the show live. The production would just ask them for reactions, varying from surprise to shock, to happiness, and they would pretend that they are in “Deal or No Deal,” or other game shows.
