According to former contestant Dave Vasen, “Shark Tank” competitors shouldn’t tell anyone about the storyline of any episode before it airs. Even if it is will be broadcast on the same night, no secrets should be released.
This is a very understandable move to avoid any spoilers or leakage about the judges’ decision or other matters. Vasen even claimed that the production crew said they wouldn’t think twice about cutting participants out of the show if they broke the golden rule.
