What’s The Lava in the ‘Floor is Lava?’
Viewers who had seen “Floor is Lava” on Netflix might have wondered what the crew used for the “lava.” According to Anthony Carbone, producer of the show, they did extensive research to come up with the formula and perfected the texture to resemble the real thing.
He likened the texture of the goo to the Panda Express’ orange chicken sauce. However, another producer Irad Eyal revealed they disapproved of a version that contained chemicals that produced glow-in-the-dark effects because it would be toxic for the contestants.
